Low in call volume

My XZ1 Comact in call volume suddenly dropped to the barely audible level.

I tried to reset it to factory state but it does not help. 

Do you have any suggestions?

PS: Playing audio, video etc sounds are ok.

Hi @Tourmen, sorry to hear about this.

Have you tried doing the inbuilt test for the ear speaker? This will let us know if it sounds fine there or if the volume is very low there as well. You can also try and turn on the speaker mode during a call, since this will enable the loud speaker and the ear speaker will not be used.

You can find the tests in Settings > Support > Xperia tests > Microphone and speakers.
