Loss of USB connnectivity for Sony Xperia XZ Premium

Anyone experienice loss of USB connectivity for Sony Xperia XZ Premium? Now, the mobile cannot connect to PC via PC companion software too. It was working fine yesterday. Anyone can advise?

Took back the phone from Repair Service center. They replaced the whole motherboard and battery.

Restart the phone.

In the popup that asked what service you want usb to use, you selected the wrong profile.

Restarting fixes it

Perhaps try developers option & enable USB debugging if yours isn't activated yet, for most Windows OS PC's it should detect automatically.

I have tried the same type C cable with another two USB Type C devices and the PC can detect both of them as USB device.

I guess I need to go down to Service Centre to check, most likely the USB port of the XPZ is down.

Now the phone is in Sony Service Centre since last Sunday.

They have tried to reformat the phone, but the problem still persists. They suspect it could be USB hardware issue. Will update after I collect my phone in 7 days.
