Is it possible to make the navigation keys bar smaller?

You can make the whole interface smaller, which includes the navigation keys by increasing the smallest width under drawing in the developer options. I have it set to 476 dp and like it a lot better as alot more stuff fits on the screen. For example, the calculator shows all functions even in the portrait mode. Play around with the number to see what you like the most.

The main issue I see with doing this is that the videos that I show in landscape mode shrink also, which is not good. I like them to use the entire screen.

Sorry i didnt understand the problem you are facing. Do you mind posting a screenshot of the issue you are facing?

I marked the bar. Now it is more or less about 8mm high/big. 

I want to make it smaller, so that it becomes 5 mm. 

I hope my problem is more clear now.

But Do you know a way for getting the softkey bar isolated smaller?
