Instagram keeps crashing

Instagram app has been crashing on opening, or shortly after, for a week now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times, rebooted, and cleared cache but same problem persists. Is anyone else experiencing this and any ideas on a fix? Googling only shows fix for the issue that cropped up widely this week and my problems predated that, and persist.

If clearing app cache and data, uninstall it, restart phone and install again does not solve the problem maybe it's time you contact the app developers, you can get their contact at the end off the Google Play page of the app.
