Yesterday I got a notfication that a system update is available for my XZ. I choosed to install it over night but this morning I found my smartphone in a bootloop. The screen is black, then it boots, it follows the Sony sign, the Android logo and then the Xperia sign. Then the screen goes black again and it starts all over. I can turn the phone off completely by pressing the power button and volume up, but if I try to turn it on again, the bootloop starts immediately again.
I looked for common solutions for similar problems and tried to use the Xperia Companion to repair the software but my phone is not registered. Then I tried a factory reset by pressing the power button and volume up when its turned off to get access to the recovery mode, but the phone only vibrates a few times, nothing more happens.
Additionally, I tried all of that after taking out my SIM card again, results remain the same. Therefore I want to ask if any one of you has some ideas?
Any ideas
f**k the repair crash at 1/4 of the loading bar...
with the message: "

Try Again. If the problem persists, contact Sony Support."
Don't panic - I had the same here.
Maybe you must try 2 or 3 times.
But then it will work! Trust your device 😁
After 5 retry it's work (maybe), i trust in my device, i trust in sony but i didn't trust in android 8.0 >< (One of the fonctionality of android 8.0 is to stop bootloop ><)
It's finaly work, thx for all the support
I am also very disappointed from Android. Sony is a real good Brand. I never had problems with any Sony device.
I hope your problems are solved. Have a good time - bye bye :smileyhappy::smileyrainbow:
Cool! I am realy happy about that!
Now you have one of the best phones on the planet :smileysmileywink:
