increasing ringtone option disappeared

I can't find 'increasing ringtone' option. Did you remove it, Sony?

Xperia devices use a version of Android that is close to stock, and it appears this function has been removed from Android 7.0.

However, because it is Android it is very customisable, there may be a third party app available on places such as the Google Play Store that can perform this functionality for you.

Thanks for your reply. I'm so sad to hear that Sony is removing their own unique features such as tap-to wake up, FM radio, lots of camera addon, so many widgets. Many customers want customized phone,not stock android. If customers want stock android, they will buy Google Pixel, not xperia.

Agree, I prefer close stock Android and Sony provided that just with those little extras to improve usability and like u said, making it unique.

I am with Sony since the "Z" and it just could be that that the XZP will be my last Sony. Somehow it seems that to improve rentability, Sony has discharged their own Software development team. Why else would common responses always refer to other 3Rd party apps.

So it's a bit disappointing, knowing that it is hard to satisfy all needs.

I see both sides of the debate. Some want vanilla Android so that everything is smooth and they can install what they want from the play store. The problem is sometimes there are not good apps to fulfill what we want.

Some want the little tweaks to be part of the installed OS so they don't have to do without, or they do not want to look for alternatives in the play store. The problem is updates and bugs. If the stuff Sony tweaks does not work properly, or the tweaks introduce bugs then Sony has to fix the issues.

Motorola/Lenovo did a great jon with their tweaks on the Moto X Pure. I wish some of their tweaks could be installed on the XZ Premium??

Hopefully Sony will bring back, or make available, their tweaks for those who want them.

We feel like features are dropping away hourly...we came to Sony after some research, and apparently it was not enough. So much disappointment.
