How to Fix Unfortunately, Chrome has stopped Error in my XZ?

Till yesterday, everything was working fine with my Xperia XZ Premium. But then I started an error named "Unfortunately, Chrome has stopped" in my Chrome browser. The error started popping up yesterday. Now, whenever, I click on my browser, this error is shown.

Help me out to fix it please.

@sandywilliams475 try settings - apps and notifications, see all apps. Look for chrome, tap on it, force stop and under storage tab, clear cache. Tell us if it works.

Try deleting the chrome history or change the browser and check if the problem still exists or not.
