Are there any plans for enabling gestures on the fingerprint sensor like swipe-down for notification panel?

I'm afraid that I don't have any information on new features in upcoming software updates.

I can see how fingerprint gestures can be very useful for example, to access the notifications on your phone or open up the application menu and so forth, so I will make sure to forward this internally as user feedback!

Coming with 7.1.2 to certain smartphones. I don't know if the XZ will be compatible.

Hello, 

Please consider seriously of enabling fingerprint gestures, or altering the pull-down gesture anywhere on screen from showing app search to notification shader pull down. Now that Sony has moved to a tall screen aspect ratio, reaching the top of the display for the notification shader is very difficult and annoying. I am forced to use Nova launcher only for having this ability to pull down the notification shader from anywhere on screen.

At present there are no plans to introduce fingerprint gestures for Xperia devices with fingerprint sensors, however I will make sure to forward the feedback you have given to me both regarding gestures in general and fingerprint gestures!
