Fast Charger inside the Box?

 Hi! I just want to ask if this charger is capable of QuickCharge 3.0? It was included on my Xperia XZ Premium when I bought it

Hi @KienTran, thank you for this information and I'm really jealous of you having the Red version of the XZ Premium. That color was never launched in the Nordic market and it really looks stunning!

The cable included with the XZ Premium supports quick charging using UCH12W (the USB Type-C version of the UCH12) so you can use the cable included with the phone, or the cable included with the charger (if that is included in your market).

Hi,

Sony recommends the UCH20 with 1500 mA for the XZ Premium.

Can i also use the UCH10 with 1800 mA ?

Would it be 20 % faster or do i really need to buy a slower UCH20 as recommended on the Sony Mobile Store Page?

i won't buy the UCH12W because it costs 10 times more than a UCH10 or UCH20 here.

Sony site mentions the following :

Quick Charger UCH12W

Use the UCH12 to avail Fast Charging. 

If you use UCH20 it'll charge normally for a longer time.

yes angelo, i know that a 1500 mA charges longer than a 2700 mA charger.

my question was:

Sony recommends all the 3 chargers, the only difference is the UCH20 is the standard charger with normal charging speed, and the UCH10 and UCH12 are fast chargers being the UCH10 an old model only with Quick Charge 2.0 technology. The UCH12 is the most recent fast charger with even faster charging speeds and Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Normally the UCH10 and UCH12 should be more or less within the same price range but beware that I know there are many fake imitations of this two chargers with a great difference in price for the originals

@digitalray, The UCH20 is a normal standard charger, while the UCH10, UCH12 and UCH12W are quick chargers.

UCH10 = Qualcomm Quick charge 2.0 (comes with a micro USB cable but you can use the cable included with the Xperia XZ Premium to quick charge your device

UCH12 = Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 (comes with a micro USB cable but you can use the cable included with the Xperia XZ Premium to quick charge your device)

UCH12W = Same as UCH12, but it comes with a USB Type-C cable.

You can use all three chargers to charge your Xperia XZ Premium and it will charge faster with the UCH10 compared to UCH20, and even faster with UCH12/UCH12W!
