I have a H8324, Sony XZ2 compact, android 9, Build number 52.0.A.10.6 with dual sims installed, carriers "3" and "Tele 2".
I would like to use Tele2 for data and "3" for Calls and SMS, as my default setup.
After a while however, the phone decides to switch my data setting to "3" so that it uses the same SIM for all services.
This then causes the phone to restart. As I am not aware that this is happening, the phone becomes unavailable until I notice.
Once I notice that this has happened, I have confirm the restart and wait for it, then to go in to the menu, switch the data setting back to Tele2, wait for the phone to notice and once again confirm the restart, which takes a lot of time.
I have tried switching bays for the sims, and I am now experimenting with setting the SMS to Tele2 to check if it switches the remaining service, the phone, to Tele2, or if it still switches just the data.
It seems like a pretty straight forward bug and not an expected behaviour, but is there any workaround? The phone, as it is, is very untrustworthy and difficult to use.
