I have prebooked my Sony Xperia XZ premium on 09/06/2017 at Sri Ganesh Electronics, Sony Center, 261, JN Street, MG Road Area, Puducherry, 605001,Phone: , Email: s to Mr.Krishnaraj, So that I have to receive the gift of Bluetooth speaker (Sony SRS-XB20) worth Rs.8990/-. And have to receive the product on the launch date 12/06/2017, but On the launch date when I reached the showroom they said they have sold it to someone who didn't prebook for their own gain and made me to wait for 9 days after the launch(21/06/2017) to receive the product(IMEI- ). While receiving the product I asked about the free gift, Mr.Arul said Mr.Krishnaraj has releved from the store and he didn't finish the Prebooking formalities completely, he said he will try his most to avail the offer. After few days he called me and said he cant make the gift avail, so that I made a complaint to sony costumer care and few months later Mr. Arul called me and said that the head office said him to give the free gift to me on his own cost. He asked me to avail the previous model(Sony SRS-XB2) of free gift which has stopped selling in the market on as a second end without USB cable with bill rate of Rs.5000/- on07/11/2017 as he pleased me I felt pity as he has to cost it and accepted it. He promised me to do favours on any problem in future, but he failed. On the date of 07/08/2017 my mobile fell down and back panel was broken it was repaired by sony service center Job no: W117090101077 dated 12th October 2017,it took that many days to repair and was not tested for water resist(Upload of test was not updated on system when I checked 13/01/2018). On the date of 01/01/2018 my mobile failed to water resist the showers in a party even a minute and started vibrating. As soon as it started vibrating I came out and switched of the mobile even though it continued vibrating so I kept it in my Scooters back and went home. My mobile kept vibrating till the charge was completely drained. Next day I reached the M/s. Daksha Services, Pondicherry, Sony service center Mr.Mano removed the sim slot and said you would not have closed the sim slot properly. He didn't inspect before removing and prove that to me.To your knowledge that if the slot was slightly removed when the mobile was switch On the mobile will automatically restart and we will know that sim slot was opened or when closed and if it was loose sim card wont be detected. I strongly say that the water entry was due to the improper repair and testing was done for the Job no: W117090101077 dated 12th October 2017. My mobile was water resistant even under swimming pool. My mobile's IP rating is IP65/IP68, which is completely water resistant and dust tight. My current charge is about Rs.32000/- for Work Order No. W118010500555 dated 5th January 2018. And I have paid Rs.5000/- in advance.
All I want is replace my handset and free gift(Xperia XZ Premium and Sony SRS-XB20) plus the 5000/- advance I paid for the service and ten times claim of mobile rate 6,00,000/- for their fraudent and misleading.
If water resistant can't be covered under warranty then whats the use of advertising it as water resistant. If you don't advertise so we will be taking precautions needed.
