Charging problem xz

Hello everyone,

I have a Sony XPERIA XZ and since yesterday it charges very slowly, my phone took 1 hour to charge up 2%, and last night it didn't charge at all when i looked at it this morning.

What is the issue?

Sorry to hear you're having issues charging your phone

Are you charging your handset via a wall socket or PC? If you are charging via PC can you try a wall socket, or a different wall socket if this is already what you are using. 

Also, if you have one, can you try a different cable to see if there is any change? If none of these options make a difference I would suggest testing the phone in safe mode, see how it charges while you have it in safe mode.

Just got my phone back from xperia centre cause of charging issue. Battery draining super fast, charging port loosely connected to cable and super slow charging.

First charge seemed fine. Now on my 2nd charge it took me 7hrs to reach 90% and it still seemed that the port is loose I moved it just a little and it got disconnected. This is annoying!

Sorry to hear you are still having issues after sending the phone for repair.

In this instance I would advise getting back in contact with your Local support to see what other options you have here.

Use the the detect usb in the notification keys before connecting the charger,, this will solve the fast recharging issues,, even if phone will recognice charging after few seconds,, charging will be fast and normal

My xperia XZ has the same problem, and using the detect usb button before pluggin in the usb just says it cant find any usb, and doing it while the usb is in dont make any difference...
