can not disable notification dots

Hi,

i dont like the notification dots and want to disable them.

but they still appear after turnig them off globally under settings->apps and notification->configure notification->allow notification dots

or under the app notification rules itself

or both.

I received my xperia xz2 compact just yesterday. i applied the latest updates. i also tried to clear app data of the sms app and whatsapp

I got the same issue with the xz1 compact.  The "allow notification dots" doesn't function. I cannot disable the notificaiton dot.

Sony, please fix it as soon as possible !!!
