Camera shortcut button

Is there a way to turn off the camera shortcut button on the side of the phone as it's very sensitive?

Go in Camera Settings, the second to last option should be Quick Launch (or somenthing like this, I don't know the proper translation since I have it in italian) then select Disable. This should do the trick.
