download the image and zoom in and tell me if u see the poor quality
Unfortunately, your shots are very oversharper, noisy and with some blurs and glitches.
The oversharpening is particular evident in the cables of electricity and trees behind. This make the photos not soft but very unnatural respect to the eyes view.
Very bad to see for a flagship cameraphone...
horrible quality.. look at the ground how muddy all the earth is represented, especially the right side.
@92
I have a precisation, but important, to say you.
To better understand the quality of this new camera, you should refer us if the shots are taken in 23 Mpx or 8 Mpx, if in Auto Mode or Manual Mode.
To reduce noise, the main and efficient approach is to use the Manual Mode and take less than possible the ISO. In your shots in perfect daylight, you have to set the ISO to 50; the photos were without noise and high quality.
The color glitches and oversharpening depend from BIONZ software and not easly comensate by manual settings.
The blurs depend on the wide of lenses, so it is hardware issue. I don't know haow reduce they, sorry.
You could try and then report us your results.
Best!
actually in perfect daylight even Auto mode 8 MP should give clear and sharp photos!
ISO on the photo above was set to 50 - and there is alot of noise.
@dumme_ziege
Unfortunately it seems there is a bad processing and elaboration by BIONZ software.
What I leave me displease is that nobody of Sony's moderators here give an answer about this big thread...
after looking at your pictures this proves my point and sony should understand that without OIS this digital noise and grain will always be there look how bad the sharpening from their EIS is happening its so bad omg
SONY give us an answer and solution!!!!!!!!!!!!!
