Bug in Android Pie 9

Since I have installed Pie 9 on my xz3, it continuously shows a notification for one unread / new message when there are none. I have deleted my current messages, restarted my phone but it won't go away.

Yes. I have same phone (sonny xperia xz3) for me its the same problem, i'm allready  off from this notifications. Can they deall with this nonsses🤬🤬😠😠😠😤😤😤😤😤😕🙄🤔🤔

Hi @Stepajustasrw24, sorry for the late reply, I have been on vacation.

Have you tried what @NunoSEN2 suggested that solved it for the other user? Clear data for the Messages application.

To do this, go to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all xx apps > Messages > Storage > Clear data > OK.

You can also download a different SMS application from the Google Play store and see if that one can find any unread message that is not displayed in the Messages application.
