Bootloop Xperia XZ Premium

I lost my original USB cable and then I bought a new one, and when I connected it to the cell phone it was switched off, now when I turn it on it's in a bootloop. Please help me. Thanks.

Hello @romanyaki, welcome to the community!

I'm sorry to hear about your phone! If you remove your new cable and try to start it like you usually do, how does the phone react? Have you tried to do a forced restart by pressing down the on/off-button and the Volume up-button at the same time? The phone should vibrate shortly and then you can try to start it up again. You should also remove your SIM-card and try to start your phone without it.

If it's still in a boot loop after these actions I suggest that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. A software repair will remove all existing software in the phone and re-install the latest available version of the operating system. Since you can't get in to the phone you will not be able to do a backup using Xperia Companion, so data stored on the internal memory will unfortunately be lost, but data stored on a SD-card or cloud service will not be affected.

Keep me updated! I would love to hear how things work out.

Hi, I had the same problem recently, what I did was I plugged my phone onto my laptop, hold power or volume up or together (can't remember) , until you get the blue led light. Hold power and volume up until three vibrations, immediately unplug your phone before the led light up, it worked for me on the second try. But this problem WILL come back, so try not to turn off your phone, otherwise, it will enter bootloop again.

I hope this is helpful Slightly_smiling_Face

hi, every time the problem came back to you, all you did was that?, and as normal as always?, how many times you did it?
