Bluetooth share option missing

Tried to send a file to my tablet via Bluetooth but when I tap share the Bluetooth option is missing, all of the others, whatsapp, beam and what-have-you are there and I can send to the phone from the tablet via Bluetooth by not the other way round.

Anyone else have this/know a workaround?

No, I just tried to send from my phone to my pc with no problem. 

But I am curious about one thing though. Does your phone show the icon for Bluetooth enabled in the status bar?

In the bar across the top?  Yeah, just not in the box that pops up when you press share.

ok. I do not have the icon in the status bar at the top. But I do have the option to share.

Did you do anything to get thar icon to show in the status bar?

Pull the drop down menu all the way till you see the little settings cog, next to the cog is a pencil, tap that and you can personalise the menu.
