Bluetooth issue after update Nougat Android 7.0

Hi,

after update Android 7.0 my XZ can't connect properly to my car via bluetooth. The telephone connects, but the media connection try to connect contiously but do not reach to connect. I can't use my XZ in the car, because battery runs down very fast due to this bug. Is there a fix? Have anyone the same issue?

My Bluetooth works on some devices fine but as soon as it is connected to my car's stereo with Bluetooth it cuts out about 4 times per song.
This is on the Xperia xz after the nougat update Bluetooth 3.0 on the car stereo.
I have tried all of the Bluetooth fixes on the net except for the reinstall of nougat and have had it replaced instore to no avail.

It's a 7.0 problem. The fix will be in 7.1
Don't replace your handset due to a software problem.

Just a follow up to my previous message , i emailed sony electronics regarding my headphones and like i thought they said because my headphones worked with ipone 6 , then it has to be the phone , is Sony customer support that bad?

Same problem. Only way to fix it for now its to restart the phone once you are in the car.
Then both media and calls will work. But you have to repeat it every single time you turn off the car.

I came across these same problem: Xperia X cannot connect media to my car radio after being upgraded to Nougat 7. Reconnecting, reinstalling does not help. They bug is indeed documented on the web. So just waiting angrily for an upgrade which will fix the problem. Is anybody at Sony aware?

I confirm this is the only way to resolve the problem of connecting to the car audio but it still cannot fully connect to some of the folder such as dial-in history, which used to work perfectly when I was using Andriod 6.0

 I have an update!

This morning I installed a security patch update taking my Build Number to 39.2.A.0.417 on my Xperia XZ F8331.  As this is still Android 7.0 I had no expectation of it making a difference to my connection issues to my car, but when I got into my car my phone notified me that my car wanted access to my text messages (something that was already enabled under Marshmallow).  I allowed this, then checked the bluetooth connection details to my car, enabled Media Audio connection, and lo and behold the audio playback worked perfectly!

I still didn't get a proper notification on my car when a subsequent SMS message arrived during my journey, so the system isn't yet 100% fixed, but at least I can stream the music on my phone to my car stereo again.

I also have just received update 32.3.a.0.376-r3d for my Xperia Z5 Premium. Android version is still 7.0 so it doesn't solve the Bluetooth issues. In fact, I'm yet to see if there are any changes noticeable to the user.

I recently got a system update and my bluetooth issues on the 7.0 have been resolved. I can finally connect to media in my bmw idrive.
