Best micro SD card for Xperia XZ1

Hello, fellow Sony fans!

Can anyone recommend a really good micro sd card for the Sony Xperia XZ1 so that I can record 4K video without the phone telling me to save to the internal? Thanks!

Hi @LTEstyles,

You will want to find an SD card that is labeled with "SDXC" as this will have a high enough transfer rate to support 4K.

I use Samsung sd card pro (the black one), 64GB.

It's not cheap but worth it.

I am using san disk 64g sdxc uhs 3. It has fast transfwr rate and can handle 4k video recording.

Thanks to all for your input. I had no idea about choosing the card not only for correct physical size but the best format re. speed and 4k/8k capability.
