Have you contacted your Local support to get it inspected and repaired?

I have XZ  in each color from the USA and two from Japan in heavy use 24-7 and I rotate them during heavy use when battery goes out.

They are all running perfectly and after 13 months have minimal issues.

There was an issue with an update earlier this year which caused stutter, since fixed and now 8.0 has made it a truly smooth device.

i think you have a defect and  should get an exchange right away .

Mine is perfectly fine after 9 months of usage, i mean heavy use...
