App doesn't give a notification

My phone vibraties, but I don't get a notification. So I don't know what app is doing something or what app is getting a message! Only whatsapp, snapchat and fb messenger work with notification. I do have notification settings on for every app. For example: I am not getting notifications for: games, 9gag, tinder, Samsung health, other health apps, Insta gram. Its fairly annoying, because my phone does vibrate and then I have to go though every app to find out which one did something. Please help!!!!

Settings > apps & notifications > configure notifications > notifications > select the app > allow sound > on > repeat as needed.

I did this to every app already, but I am not getting the notification. It's also not about sound, its about getting the pop up on my screen so I know where it's coming from.

Settings > apps & notifications > cofigure notifications > Allow notification dots, keep notifications > notifications > select the app(s) > Additional settings in the app (at the bottom) > Push notifications > repeat as needed.

Hello, 

There aren't additional settings in the app at the bottom. Just the notification, which is already turned on. Everything is turned on. This is my problem, everything is set to allow notifications, my phone vibrates when something happens but it wont show me the notification.

I noticed the following: now my phone vibrates and I get a notification, but the notification dissapears immediatly, its not staying (and yes I do have the button on that says that notifications have to stay untill I swipe them away)
