My android version stop on 7,1,1 and I can't update my android version please fix it

It's been almost a year now from the release of the android 9 pie on xperia Xz premium, and till now i still didn't receive my pie update?!!!!!!! Pie update was released in Xz premium from 10 November 2018 ans now i'm in October 2019 and still didn't get that  update.

I talked to sony about that till they got bored of me but they didn't do  for me and everytime i talk to them they tell go check there forum 😠😠, they tell me that like i don't even know about it but i didn't for 100 times and all that it days is that my device have the latest update!! But it doesn't!!!!! And it's making me crazy!!!! And then they tell me that it's about the zone and the area where you live in, i know that but now it's for a year so it have came out in all areas and android Q is on its way, so don't tell it hasn't came out yet to my region!!!

I want my pie update!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all try checking your costumization version to see what's the latest firmware release for it, you can do it in the service menu info (dial *#*#7378423#*#*).

See also what's your build number in Settings>System>About phone.

I have exactly same problem. I am loosing my mind, my last update my phone received is from 2017 year (!!!) that's what you got for buying limited rosso version? Absolutely disgusting for such good phone not to have any software updates. At the other hand all devices which weren't bought from free market are updated equally every month in my country meanwhile I forgot what update means. I can't believe Sony still can't fix this issue

According to the costumization version of your firmware you have a device with a software specific for "Commercial and Journalists", not intendend for public in general (I think is more a kind of review unit), that is why there were not released any more updates for your phone, you have the last version available for that specific costumization.

Question is - will I ever have the update? In my phone it is still called that next version is Android Pie so I belive I should be able to update my phone at last. I bought my phone from the free market so it doesn't any branding. Can I solve my problem by sending it out for my warranty? (which is still active for me)

I think no one knows if you will recieve any more updates but I wouldn't expect so.

I think also you should claim the issue in the place you bought the phone since they sold you a phone with a firmware that I suppose is not intended for sell.

These are kind of demo versions for store front and jounalist for promotional purpose only. If your reseller/retailer sold you the unit for end use then you may ask the retailer  to change the unit with a end-user one.
