Android 9 issues

I updated to android 9 today and now some of my apps are not functioning, like album and music player.

Also album and music player apps can't recognize my files in SD card, although other apps like file manager can

Anyone having the same problem? Is it an update issue and you guys know when they're going to fix it?

Just updated mine as well to Pie9. Although I haven't had the same issue as you, my ringer stopped working. Notification sounds and vibration still work but my ringtone won't chime. Also the volume keeps getting lowered to minimum on the ringtone and haven't been able to confirm a cause yet. I adjust it to max but still no chime. So obnoxious that mandatory updates inhibit rather than improve our device.

My phone started randomly often stuttering no matter in which app, it's really annoying as it stutters while I'm typing it makes me type stupid things, also while browsing in any apps it stutters... VERY BAD optimisation on Sony side of developers, I hope they fix this issue fast, I tried restarting, and it's always the same. Oreo worked so well and fluid without ever single one stutter happening.
