Android 8 update with battery drain and cant use apps on SD

Why as android upgrade its versions, its function gets worse? Battery drain after an update to version 7.1 then Oreo, 8, doesn't let us to use apps installed on SD card!!! 🤔😐😖😭😡😠🤪🤒
