Zperience rom for xperia u

This is for the guys who like flashing their phone with custom roms i found zperience rom from xda using it since a week and it awesome no lags great battery life has all the mods of xperia z even small apps are included

I would also recommend this ROM, which is done by the very resourceful and helpful jatinrungta. 

The first time I answered the phone after switching to Zperience, I was shocked by how responsive the phone felt.  On stock ICS, I always encountered a 1-2 sec lag before other person heard me.  Now there is no delay at all.  Accept the call and talk, that's it.

I always felt let down by the XU because to me it failed to provide good phone functionality: lag in answering, freezes up sometimes on incoming call, slow to open keypad, etc.  To some extent I still feel the phone functionality of the XU can be improved, but this ROM has made things better.

I've installed Zperience and I noticed that the RAM consumption has increased greatly. Since I'm new to the custom roms, I was wondering could I repair my phone using SUS or do a factory reset while I'm using custom rom.

yes you can but it would bring back the original software

Thanks, jatinrungta.  Do you have plans to update Zperience based on the 0.89 rom please?  I read good things about this stock ROM, but I also like Zperience as well. 

I've abandoned Zperience temporarily to try 0.89. Too early to say right now.  Zperience is certainly better looking, but I'm searching for solid phone functionality.  This thing is supposed to be a phone after all

Zperience "phone pickup" time is excellent.  Opening time of the keypad & the contact list is on par with stock<0.89.  I'm hoping 0.89 would be better.

It's a beautiul ROM. No fuss, smooth, very reliable, works everytime. Can't wait for an update - don't know how he managed to get so much right the first time around!
