My Z5C android device manager works even is set to off.

I still can locate my device when this function is off

How did you set it off? Under settings - security?

then even reboot the device but  still working

I have checked and yes, you are right, but the options you get if you remove device manager from administrators are different. You can only call the device or enable the lockdown and erase, meanwhile if you have device manager enabled, you can call, block and erase, each phase being different.

I will try to get more info on this.

@mute_man This function is not something that Sony has control over. It has been discussed on other forums and people decided it's helpful in case you lose your device or it is stolen. What we have also noticed is that if you turn off the function in security settings, google does not have administrator priviliges and, if needed, you can remotely enable access to it.

This is all very nice but ....if anyone knows your password  and stop any notifications from Google Play Services.... can spy your location anytime

True, but it needs looking at by Google.

Under Setting--> Google--> Security we have options to stop Remotely location.

I found it just now and works.
