I've notice that whenever I ruin an app in debug mode on my ZP5 the gyroscope intermitantly stops working. The app isn't doing anything particularly complext. At the moment I'm just messing around with layouts, so I can't see how it would do anyything to the OS.
Clearing the cache [Power button + Volume Up] seems to temporaraly sort out the problem, untill I start using the phone to debug an app again, and sooner or later the problem returns, and I'm back at the same place.
When it happens the phone fails the test in About Phone -> Dagnostics -> Test -> Gyroscope, and none of the apps rotate the way they should!
Also the test for the fingerprint scanner fails the test in the same test section, yet works when I use the phone.
I've already repaired the phone once with PC companion, and had to set it back up as the backup didn't restore after the PC companion repair completed.
Any help would be roundly welcome
