Z5 complaints and response from service centre

Dear Sir,

 
            I sreenath From Kerala. Last week i Purchased Z5 Dual(26-11-2015). Next day i approach service centre for complaint(27-11-2015). I am using Sony products last 5 years. i had never experienced this type of service for your side. Very bad responds from your technicians. They don't no about xperia Z5. 
            In my Z5 i had experienced lot of problems.
1, Low ringing volume.
2, low mic sensing(other party not hearing my voice clearly
3, Overheating
4, No quick charging its only heating when i connect charger
5, White Patch's on screen and also display steady
6, Bad camera quality front and rear ( camera app was old one). taking time for shots
7, when using camera for one min phone get heating and also using web its heating
8, very low performance.
 
I visit service centre they told me its all about software. they put new update version in it via flashtool ( why service centres using flash tool?). After that ringing volume had some improvement and camera app was different( no quality). still it remaining all other complaints there. Today i visit again there. they told me that there is no issuse on my phone. But still it heating(use any function for 2 minz), not quick charging(30minz charging it charged only 13%), low ringing volume, low mic sensing, display patch is there, camera working very slow, when opened taken picture it takes time to seen. They told me that all the problem related to waterproof because of no air passage. They don't know about your product, they saying quick charge is only function for 45minz charging for one day use(only we don't use the phone then we get one day backup, so we need a smartphone?). At last they agree me that phone had some problem in display( all other problems they are not considering) but they want to conform. so they hand over my phone to sony india pvt ltd, kadavantara, ernakulam, kerala. 
 
One thing they ask me why i purchases sony mobile. what was that?
 
          Please consider my case seriously because i purchased your product on 26th now 5 day phone was on service centre. now am regretting about this purchase. Phone cost was 50000rs.

Reinstall the latest update and report back, keep in mind that the phone won't overheat, if the phone gets too hot it will shut down.

Already performed by service centre. White mark is hug. And when quick charge functioning time(0to60) hug heat coming out like iron box, taking lot of time (eg:- 30minz charging gets only 13% battery increasing)

I send a mail to customer care they didnot respond. Today is 2nd... I am waiting for the reply.

Sorry to hear about your experience.

From what you are describing, i do recommend that you contact your Local support for assistance.

Please make sure that you have tried to contact your Local support using the contact form. I checked our system and i can only see that you've contacted them two times. Once by phone and once by email. Both times were last year regarding Xperia M.

The low ringtone volume may have to do with speaker calibration. When you restart the phone for the first time it will calibrate the speaker. While it's calibrating, you may experience a lower volume. Please try to let the phone play audio from the speaker for about 45 minutes and see if that helps. You can play any sound like music or Youtube.

It's normal for the phone to get warm when you use it. The phone has builtin protection against overheating and in case it should start to get too warm, you will get a message about it from the phone and then it will turn off features or itself to prevent any overheating. As long as you haven't seen any message about this your phone should be within normal temperatures but if you suspect that there's anything wrong with it, please contact your Local support for assistance.

To use QuickCharge 2.0 you also need a QuickCharge 2.0 charger like our UCH10. Also note that how long it takes to charge the phone depends on if it's being used. If an app is running at the same time using power, it will take longer.

Try charging the phone in safe mode while not using it and see how long it takes to charge. With safe mode you can also check if the low performance is caused by a downloaded app.

I will never going to buy another sony in my life  i just got a sony xperia z5 and i broke the screen.

That it's ok as was my fault !

but the problem is that i can't recover my contacts as i can only acess the phone using the USB (No other is possible the screen is total broken).

they should have  a way to get the contacts at the internal storage !!!!

Im going to lose lots contacts important Never again!!!!

surely you have a google account and your contacts will be backed up online

Hi,

You are right. I had the exact same experience. I too felt this heating issue with my Z5 and feel that is not suitable to Indian weather. Yes, the device heats up even if camera app is just opened and kept idle without even shooting or recording. Heats up when browsing as well.  My Z5 dual was in service station for almost the first 1 month. After some usage, the heat levels drop when recharging and i think this is because batteries tend to get hotter during the first few cycles.  This is my 4th Sony device and haven't expected such and inferior product from them. Above all this, Sony service guys never accept that there is a fault and they are not trained. Never going to buy a Sony again.

First of all my Z5 is heating like crazy, battery wont last even 1 day, over and above its side frame got bent like a melted chocolate and rear glass also broke like in single fall from approx 3-4 feet, Sony is that too very costly , now they r saying itwont be covered in warranty I. M sad coz I spent 44k.
