I set up an SIP account for calling, and chose it to be used for all calls in settings. However, when I call a number using a dialpad in the built-in phone app, it goes through my SIM-card instead. If I cancel the call and click the number in the list of recently called numbers, it works correctly (goes through the SIP account).
I'm able to receive the calls through SIP correctly, and I am able to make the calls through a 3-rd party application (Zoiper). I also already tried doing a software repair, and it didn't help, so please don't suggest it.
How can I make the phone app use SIP right away?
Thanks in advance!
Hi @wicccked,
Welcome to the community.
Please go to your phone dialer > 3 dots > Call Settings > Phone Account Settings. The first option should be "Make calls with". Is that set to your SIP account?
Hi Cameron,
yes, it is.
