Hi there! I understand other people are having a similar issue but none of the fixes I've seen work for me.
About a week ago my Z3C battery started to drain super fast, like I'm getting maybe 10 hours with all power saving features on while asleep. I factory reset the phone but the problem persists. When I first got the phone I disabled nearly all the stock apps, save walkman & chrome and a couple others. No google accounts or other sony default apps. I hadn't changed any settings when the battery started to drain. I was getting 3 days out of it initially even when listening to music on walkman overnight. My brighness is always on the lowest setting, wifi off when phone asleep and never searching, location services from what i can tell always off, I don't have any apps auto syncing & 4G us usally off when not out in remote areas.
The only thing I'm seeing different is that cell standby & walkman are taking up 25-40% of the battery now, and I don't remember any app being that high before?? Using 4.4.4, not rooted
I love this phone and I really just want to sort this out, if anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it. 4 screens attached, let me know if you need screenshots from any other areas.
Could you upload the pictures at box or dropbox as I can't see them until they get approved by a moderator.
The only issue I see is that your network coverage it's quite poor, which will drain your battery a lot faster.
Settings > about phone > status > signal strength, what do you see there?
I've tried airplane mode and no change in battery drain? I've always had a really good signal. Signal strength is currently:
-89 dBm 12 asu
I am at work currently, though I think home signal is similar.
Also usually when I've checked the usage, I've never seen the purple bar before
even on airplane mode, it seems that you leave WiFi on at all time, that could be another issue.
wifi is set to turn off when the phone is asleep, but again none of these settings have changed recently so I don't know how that's happening!!
it's not currently on airplane, i just mean I've tried it to see if it affects the drain and it's the same, about 10% an hour.
Sorry I am grateful for your help, I'm just trying to be as plain as possible!!
This is what I would do, backup and repair the phone with PCC
Bridge (for Mac)

Thank you, I will try when I get home. I assume the repair aspect is key as there isn't much information I need to backup from the phone that I'm aware of? Should I make a back up now? I don't know how similar to computers phones are I don't want to make a backup if the issue is then going to be carried over?? I hope that makes sense I don't get inner phone workings. Xbox's & PC's are fine but phones stump me!!
