Z3C notification dropdown bug

I noticed an annoying bug in the software of the Z3compact.

The notifications screen comes all the way down with a simple tap instead than with a slide.

This is annyoing because tapping buttons or apps at the top of the screen often makes the notification screen drop all the way down accidentally.

experia Z2, samsung s4, experia ray that I tried don't have this behaviour.

Could you Sony please add the option to choose whether tapping or sliding to enable the notification screen?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

This is actually not a bug, this is how it works. If you tap the notification field, it will drop down. But I will forward your feedback to relevant department.

The issue with tapping over dragging is the accidental trigger to the notification screen which happens quite a bit during normal use:

most apps have buttons at the top of the screen, a slight misalignment of the finger triggers the notification screen.

I just bought Z3C and I'm already having trouble using it because of the notification panel that drops down even with a slightest tap and even worse without touching it. Saw same concern here in forum but did not state any solution. Please help

I am having issues with the touchscreen on my z3c..the uppermost part of the screen cant detect any gestures..i cant use tge dropdown menu n notification panel..i've tried doing a diagnostic test on the screen and d uppermost part of the screen is unable to detect gestures..need help
