Z3 writing to SD card

I'm aware that this is an Android 4.4 issue, but Sony don't provide any SD card support apart from the transfer picture/music tool.

Are there any plans to allow writing to SD card again? Or at least give users the option to allow apps to install to SD rather than system memory?

Hi, as you mention it is a Google restriction......there have been some rumours that it may be available with the new Lollipop software & possibly the new Z4 when it comes out  but these are just rumours i'm afraid. If it is true then i'm sure if/when it does it will work its way down the 'older' models......fingers crossed :smileysmileywink:

Google is trying to kill the SD card, I wouldn't count on it.
