So, just 30 minutes ago I got a call and my phone vibrated off of my nightstand and hit the floor with the screen breaking from the lower left corner and the cracks flowing outwards to the rest of the screen. Only the bottom right quarter of the screen will work now. The screen itself works but the glass is broken and touching only works on a small area. Since my local shop is asking a ridiculous amount, I was thinking I would replace the glass myself. So is it just the glass itself that is broken or will I need to get some other part too?
Unfortunately I am already familiar with this since my Xperia V encountered a similar fate, although from being dropped off of a balcony on to concrete.
Just to blow off some steam: why this phone so slippery? It literally slid 15cm to the edge of my nightstand and broke itself.
