Z3 Multi touch Problems when Typing Quickly

I have been having issues typing quickly, and went to the service menu to further diagnose the issue. This is what happens wen I quickly use my thumbs near each other. As you can see, the phone registers some phantom swipes which make typing or doing anything close to each other very difficult. I have not received the newest firmware that should fix some performance issues, so I hope that is resolved when I do. I have performed a fresh install from my Mac, and this is the 2nd Z3 D6603 from Canada that I have noticed having this issue.

Does the phone has a protective case and/or film? glove mode on?

This happens with or without a protector on. Glove mode is not on.

I have emailed them before, didn't get back to me. Pretty frustrated but I'm hoping for the new firmware. Not sure how I can force it.
