Z3+ getting very hot, display draining battery, touchscreen stalling at times

z3+ issues:

1. phone getting really really hot at even the smallest usage, atleast 60 deg C (CPU Z app)

2. screen draining a lot of battery after latest firware update - 32.2.A.0.224, screen on time of barely 4 hrs max along with an extremely hot phone.

3. At times the touch is not working on some parts of the screen and some other parts it works fine. this is rare and the phone needs to be restarted. but nothing like this happened before this update

i have done a repair with the xperia companion but nothing has changed

whatever issues i am facing is only after this latest firware update

before this update the phone was barely getting hot (even though it is a snap 810 chip) and i was getting a good battery life

kindly help as the software repair hasnt made any difference.

try to perform a software repair one more time software repair using Xperia Companion..

if that doesn't fix it. you have to send your device to your local service center Local support

Hey Z3plususer, have you considered putting your phone in Safe Mode? With you saying that the Snapdragon 810 is getting very hot all of a sudden, it could be possible tha that an app you installed is doing this. Have you recently installed any Apps?

@nolram... I think its an issue with the latest 6.0.1 update. I think many others are facing the issue. My bad i did not search well before posting this thread.

@edmon have installed apps but these are the same apps i was using before this update to 6.0.1 and never faced an issue. I have installed all apps at once after software repair.

in safe mode the phone doesnt get as hot but battery drain is at the same pace

if any app is creating an issue and heating up the phone then i guess its happening just after this update because before 6.0.1 these were the same apps installed and the phone only got warm then

wow now this phone is also becoming slow and apps are not responding

what a mistake buying a sony phone
