Z3 dual not recognizing sim card

I had my xperia working just fine until 2 days ago it won't recognize my sim card I inserted the sim card and the phone reboots reading the sim card but then it just says no service I went to my network provider they troubleshoot the vpn gave me a new sim card and nothing it still not recognizing it, it says no sim no service I had my phone on this network for 3 months until it suddenly stopped working what should I do now

is it a NANO SIM card or did you cut it to make it fit?

It's a nano sim I didn't cut it I've just got home from talking to my cellphone provider they gave me a new one but no luck I still don't have service they told it might be the phone because everything is fine at their end
