Z3 D6603 delayed sms texts since build. 264

Has anyone experienced delayed text messages on their Z3 since the. 264 build? They send, but replies are delayed by between 15 mins up to 3 hours.
Has only happened since this update.
I've tried a new sim, a fresh install and then finally decided to borrow an iPhone 6S and try that and also my old S2. Text over the iPhone and the old Samsung S2 work fine, so it has to be this build. If not, maybe the phone is on it's way out? Any ideas would be welcomed.

Sent or received texts? SMS or MMS? Which app are you using?

It's received only - tried both with the stock and Hangouts.

From all contacts or a particular contact? Are texts longer than 160 characters? Do you have stamina mode on?

Yep stamina is on but I have hangouts and messages in the safe list. They happen from any other phone even my own to myself.. No issues with length of message either. Short or long, they're delayed.

Actually I just received a voicemail notification of a call I never received. Something weird is going on..

Boot on safe mode and test it, and disable stamina mode

Thanks - yeah nothing. Even sending a test text to my operator isn't getting anything back

Are you using a nano SIM card or did you trimmed it?

Nah it's just the carrier's regular nano sim. Actually swapped it out the other week just incase it was that 😕
