Issue - 1

I have a problem of the phone not responding to the on/off switch when I want to wake it from sleep. I keep pressing the button but am faced with a black screen. Sometimes I put the phone aside & try again in a couple of minutes. After a while, it works ok. Sometimes I notice that its rebooting itself in the time between me trying to wake-it and putting it aside. Happens 6 or 7 times a day.

That has not stopped happening following a factory reset ( advised to do that by the contact centre ) where all my data was deleted & I had to restore from a back up.

Issue 2

I also often do not get any response when I tap on an app icon. I have found that I can resolve this by long-pressing on a blank space so I get into multi screen mode. When I then go back to a single screen the single tap on a single icon works ok. Sounds like something wrong to me.

Anyone got any thoughts of what I could do, or is this a warranty replacement thing ?

Hi, since you have already done a PCC Repair you could try another one BUT remember to back up all your data........what i would try first tho is to run your phone in Safe Mode first, this will determine if a 3rd party App could be acting up & interfering with your phone. Did you re-apply all the 3rd party apps you have (if any) straight away after your original PCC Repair

If none of this works etc i'm afraid you must get in touch with your local Xperia Care Centre.......but try the Safe Mode first :smileysmileywink:
