Z3 Compact Screen Peeling

I've had my Z3 Compact since March this year and it's been fairly trouble free except for a single big issue.

My front screen keeps peeling in the same corner. It starts in the top right corner and goes along the top of the screen to the speaker then down the side to the power button. There's enough of a lift to see the screen 'bounce'. Tomorrow it goes back to O2 for another replacement handset, the second time I've had to make a repair arrangement in 7 months for the exact same problem in the same corner so I know it's not a user problem. Last time was in May so this replacement has lasted about 5 months with the first phone lasting just over 3 months which is extremely poor for any phone let alone one that's launched nearer the top than the bottom end. I keep my phone out of a case because of the heat issues which are pretty well reported and I feel covering it up even more will cause more issues. There's no damage to the phone at all so it's not a case of it being dropped too often and I'd guess a drop heavy enough to lift the screen clean off the corner would do a lot more damage than just that.

I've accepted a replacement phone from my network so I'll be on the 3rd phone since March and demanded a better resolution should I have this issue again.

Granted it's not the best photo in the world (the camera is the reason I bought the Z3c) but if you can see the dark line between the case and screen, that's now lifted and it can be seen noticably to be moved. The photo is from the 1st phone but my phone is like that again at the minute.

I've contacted my network and I'm getting a replacement phone but as it will be the 2nd time it's been replaced, I'm not that confident this phone will last either. With having to replace the phone twice in 7 1/2 months I'm worried I'm going to end up on the 8th phone by the time my contract ends in 15 months time

Have the same issue on a refurb. First I one self destructed when dropped into 2 ft of water for 10 seconds. Yes. The flaps were closed.

fonebiz... Well they don't give a crap about what you say at all, just "hold on while I get the eftpos machine" to rip you off $40 for sending it back if you're not willing to pay $400 for repairs! I will NEVER buy from Sony again! I kept my Z3 compact in immaculate condition before the screen starting peeling away and leaving yellow spots on the screen!! Poor workmanship Sony! We're not the only ones that this defect has rendered us out of pocket and really disillusioned about your brand as phone makers! What a joke to palm us off on a third party company (who probably only make money from sending back 'supposedly' non warranty phones).

I will continue to spread this message out because it appears this is our only form of recompense for poor overall service and experience from Sony's atrocious customer service!

Alternatively realise your phone is outside warranty, get some superglue and a small modelling brush, pull the bit apart, paint on the glue and clamp it shut for 12 hours. So far has worked fine for me, maybe the phone isn't sealed any more but it's not why I bought it and it seems Sony can't fix it anyway.

I just have a same problem. Screen start peeling off in right top corner. I have it for almost 2 years. All time in different time of covers(cases)

I bought the phone in UK O2, but now I am living in Barcelona, Spain. Some idea what I can do?
