Hello sony community
I have a z3 compact that is still under warranty but has likely had water damage even though it is claimed to be waterproof to 1.5m. It was in water for some seconds, but has stopped working following that. I was told (not by sony) that the main board has died, and needs replaced. My question is, will sony accept liability and replace my phone?

Try to request "vacuum test" this will show if the water damage was caused by faulty water seal or by negligence, your warrranty and replacement questions are best answered by your local support team,. contact them here Local support
