Hi, wondering if anyone can help. A couple of months ago I was no longer able to access my emails through my phone (stil can't) , get a "wrong password" notification every time I try. Then this morning the same thing happened when I tried to open Facebook, I am able to carry on using same password on my iPad and laptop but not phone, any ideas would be helpful.
many thanks
are you using the stock email app? try to clear data of the email app. settings>apps>email app>clear data
try to check your keyboard settings maybe it uses autocorrect on the password, though unlikely.
try to change your password on PC browser. then make sure your device is syncing properly, then try to access it again on the email app/
I have just looked in App's and there isn't any email app there.
how do you acess your email on your device?
the app is called "email" with a white envelpope icon
I can't access them, every time I try to log in it says " we don't recognise your details"! But like I say I can log in ok from all my over devices, I can't find anything at all in the apps.
are you using the gmail app ? or just on the chrome browser?
Chrome (to try and access Btinternet). But now today I can't log into Facebook either from my phone, again it won't recognise my details.
ok then try to clear data of chrome. settings>apps>chrome>clear data
is your keyboard filling up the data on the input fields?
try to reset your keyboard settings, settings>apps>xperia keyboard>clear data.
you can try to request desktop site on chrome. Chrome> 3 dots> check request desktop site
Tried all that (including adding the keyboard) but still no luck, thanks for your help though, much appreciated.
