Hello.

I have a problem with my Xperia Z2. I tried to make the update of my device but my computer shutdowned during that.

When I turn on my phone, i have this message "The software updated failed.Make sur that your phone is connected to the computer and try again".

The computer doesn't recognize the phone and the phone shut down after this message.

What can I do? 😕

being the autodidact i am i found a solution to your problem wen i got it my self

us flashtool conect usb to your pc first and hold down volum up key (button) on the device befor pluging in the other sid to to it

now a blue led color shoulb be visible hit the ligtnig bold icon and chose the fw you want to mount

wen its don with the first part a window pops up unplug your divice and hold down the volum Down key (button) and plug it back in now it should be flashing

and your good to go

I have the same problem but Sony Companion keeps giving me a "How to connect" message it says that I should remove the battery for 5sec but the obviosly thats not possible... I can't skip past that **bleep** message so I'm stuck...

Hi !

I'm on Z2 and my problem is that when I try to update to the latest version, (actually 5.1) a notification tells me "Checking Failed", and nothing happens after that. And I have to download the update every time I want to try... I didn't even have problems with the update to lollipop. So, please, help !
