Z2 in Canada?

Hi guys,

I have been really impressed by the Z2 and really am looking forward to buy it as soon as it is available.

Thing is, I live in Canada (yeah, that place). So far, it has been announced in every country. Every, expect North America, including USA and Canada.

For example, go on Sony mobile Brazilian website, it announces the Z2, go on France website, it announces the Z2, go on UK page, announced as well.

Now, try the USA or Canadian page…. Wow, the Z1 the new and powerful new phone from Sony… Seriously?

What’s wrong with Canada and North America ? Are you telling us we might not have this smartphone for some unknown reason ?

I know I probably won’t get an official answer from Sony since I tried contacting them a few times already and they won’t dare answer.

So I would like your thoughts on this. Do you think this awesome phone will be release at the same time than the other countries? And why do you think it hasn’t been announced yet in NA?

Sony launches their phones in Europe and Asia,not so much in USA.If they do come to USA,they are locked to T-Mobile.There is nothing wrong with those countries.

I don't have any launch information besides for the Nordic country (where I'm located). And here its planned to be released sometime during the second quarter of 2014.

So for the latest information for your market I suggest that you turn to your local support team. If anyone knows its them.

Well, we do have the Z1 in Canada, the Z ultra and a few more. I know a lot of people who are really interested in getting this phone. Samsung being Samsung, a lot of people are looking somewhere else for a new experience because they had bad experiences.

I can't believe we might not have this phone, I really had high expectations. Come on Sony, this is your chance to shine in North America !
