This is to report a repeated problem on my smartphone. I purchased it on 21 Jun 2014. Within 1 year it developed a problem wherein the main camera stopped responding (black screen) along with flashlight remaining continuously on once selected on manually (have to restart the phone for flashlight to go off). This was rectified in month of May 2015. The same problem repeated itself in the month of July 2015 and phone was again repaired/ rectified. Both times it felt under warranty and there were no charges paid. The only issue was twice the phone got formatted wasting my time and effort in backing up and reinstalling the desired softwares. Now last since last month the same problem has re-occurred. I being in busy course schedule don’t get time to visit nearest service centre which is located at Ooty city. My grievance is why the SONY Company has failed to permanently rectify a repeated problem. This purchase of this phone at the cost of Rs 50,000/- seems to me as a waste. This is actually forcing me to have second opinion about the SONY products which is a well-known company for the quality products. I hope I will get my phone rectified or replaced by the company as the problem has re-occurred thrice. Waiting for a favourable response.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to do anything from my position since repairs are handled at a local level and warranty may differ from market to market. I suggest that you raise this with your Local support for further information about how to proceed with this in the best possible way.
No on from your SONY customer care has been able to help me so far. My phone post third repair continues to be at service centre. SONY ltd now wnts to charge me Rs 6500/- towards repair of a problem which has re-occured thrice. First two times when the phone was under warranty the part was not changed (the camera). And now you want to charge me with the cost of camera!!!! How is this justified??? Please provide me with details / phone number of the person who can resolve the issue. So far nothing has happened and I am suffering the loss of my phone being deposited with SONY service centre.
