Z2 battery problem?

I've had the Xperia Z2 phone for about 3 weeks now. In the last week there's been an issue where the phone will turn off for no reason (battery life will be about 80%) and it won't turn back on for at least 10 minutes. This has happened twice is the last week.

Any new apps you recently loaded just prior to the phone started misbehaving?

No. When I turn off the screen because I'm nothing the phone, that's when the phone tends to turn off
