z2 back cover begins to open up

Issue started when the phone is abnormally heating up after the last 2 software updates. It was resolved by charging while the phone is off. I noticed that the back cover which is supposed to be multi proof is slowly opening up which most likely be case of the battery swelling or getting bigger during the overheating issue. Any suggestion aside from bringing my phone to depot since its already out of warranty and depot repair would most likely take 1 to 2 months.

I am sorry to hear that.

My recommendation would be that you contact your Local support in order to have it sent to an authorized service center for repairs. Unfortunately, since it's hardware related there isn't much else I can suggest.

I can't quite tell, but from that angle it definitely looks like the left side is raised. Please refer to my previous post regarding contacting your Local support for further assistance.

problem is service center in my area are only for non water proof models. Im in Luzon philippines
