Z1s freezing / locking up issues

I was wondering if anyone else had any issues with their Z1s locking up / freezing?

I waranteed my first one because tmobile wouldn't let me return it (They said because I installed apps, that's why it's not working)
I received a second one and it's doing the same thing.

It worked for a few days and now it will work for about 1.5 minutes and then lock up where I have volume-up + power to reset it.
I've looked at battery usage and the largest user of battery is Media App.

Because of that, I suspected my SD card, but I took it out and restarted and I still get the freezing.

Another thing that's probably unrelated, but might be, is I keep getting the waterproof popup even though all my covers are firmly snug.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Also, the battery drains fast during this whole mess.

Are you talking about freezing at the lockscreen?I have also encountered this, when I have to enter PIN or pattern,it just freezes and hardly gets back to normal.I had to force shutdown the device.

No, this is freezing just randomly when I'm doing anything.  It happens after being awake a little over minute.

And now it completely won't come on.  I tried to run the sony update tool, but now it's not doing anything.  It's a $600 paperweight.  I tried resetting it using the red button and everything.

I suggest you force shutdown with this key combination: power button+vol up until the phone vibrates 3 times. After this,do not turn on the device.Open SUS and follow the procedures to check firmware and repair.

I would love to, but it's powered off and won't come on.  I've tried following the steps in the SUS and nothing is happening

Sure, I'll do this.  Though the charging light doesn't come on and it was at 78%

I am sorry to hear this, but do try it.After 1-1 and a half hours of charging, try the same things I have told you.

I plugged it in for over two hours.  Still no light, still no warmth (from charging)  I think this is dead.  I guess I'll warantee it and see if maybe the third time will be the charm.
