Z1 / Z1s KitKat 14.3.A.0.757 update Results

After  update of 14.3.A.0.681 we get more problems that was issued at othere topic 

this topic for given ppl results of the new update 14.3.A.0.757 

 After 1 days of 757 update : 

1.Overheating easily(also in the camera app) + Cam lag  No Cam lag but OverHeating still but not like 681 acceptable

2.Speaker sets on low/loud alternatively   Solved 

3.Quick battery drain  acceptable but not like 4.3 JB

4.Overall lag in the UI  Solved 

5.Empty call list  Solved

6.Calls ring in earpiece instead of loudspeaker  Solved

7.The tethering icon remain for several minutes after its switch off   Solved

8.Walkman app: it can't download the album info on FLAC files  Solved 

9.A side from lag after exiting an app, the background/wallpaper disappear for brief moments    Solved

10.GPS takes longer to pinpoint the location   Still long but not like before maybe acceptable

11 - use of GPS or Google chrome browser make overheater 40 - 46 C this need to solve i think 

After 3 days of 757 update : 

1-  heat issue  (using any apps for 5 min) 42 to 48 C

2- capture picture quality  is bad

3- when Edit contact and try to add pic when try to crop it i find the pic is rotated 270 dg and canot change this rotate 

4-  Battery drain fast 

5- using app eating the ram 

So pleace who not get 14.3.A.0.757 update wait till u got it and stop pop problems issu about kitkat 

i update this topic each 3 days for see all problems that we need sony to fix it at next update

For me:

1. overheating when using camera still exists, just the camera app closed "due to high temperature" 😕
2. Battery drain is maybe minimal better, for me still exists
3. Small lag in UI still exists, example:
         Go to settings - -> apps - -> try to scroll right to "currently working" apps = still lags, or while scrolling several apps. 
4. Background and UI elements sometime disappears when coming back from heavy app. 
5. Game performance still worse than before. 

6. Calls ring in earpiece instead of loudspeaker = solved

Any other = do not know or solved. 

Still a lot of work to make it good + Z2 features = still missing.

after testing the new firmware on z1 c6903 the sound bug is gone and ui is little nice but other problems still excist the heating issue using app for 5 mins like facebook and watsapp but speacially the camera taking few pictures heats up the phone near camera area and drains battery 

still not fixed stuff 

1 heat issue(using apps for 5 min)

2 camera not on par with other devices(produces too grainy pictures on higher res like 15.5 and 20.7 mp mode )

3 battery drain using apps and camera not fix that much still dosent looks like a 3000 mah phone 

if this issues are fixed for z1 it becomes the best phone ever so fix this sony plz

But guys we can say that we can use the phone after 757 

before with 681 i canot use phone 

i think sony out this update to fast fix sound bug +  notifcations 

i think it will work on other issues soon

Hi guys, after updating and a few restarts I noticed that the memory usage has improved but now the battery drains much faster.

I did not experience any of the issues with the KitKat update as many of you have.

Guys pls lets make inspiction each 3 days on the phone to find out about all problems that we need to solve from sony at next update

After 2 days of. 757 update earpiece sound issue is solved but overheating is still there. My z1 overheats very easily by even using small apps like whatsapp. This is not acceptable. It overheats by using camera easily. Sony fix this
