Z1 shutdown

Can anyone advise me on whether I should send my z1 back after it has shutdown on its own twice in the 5 days I've had it. Is this a fault or something in the settings when the phone is idle?

It should not shut down,unless the battery is almost drained or there is an issue with the OS.You can send the phone back to them or you can try to repair your phone software,with sony update service.

Z1overheats with heavy use or lite use of the camera, let it cool or pour water over it to cool before continuing or rebooting

Oops, in idle, maybe turn phone right off,then back on failing that, little red button in sd card slot with paperclip for hard reset
